Before use:
- Ask your doctor or chemist for advice if:
- You suffer from a cardiovascular disease or poor blood circulation.
- You suffer from diabetes.
- You suffer from nerve damage or sensory impairment.
- You suffer from a skin condition.
- You suffer from rheumatoid arthritis.
- You are pregnant.
Instructions:
- Before applying the URGO Heat Patch, ensure that your skin is clean and dry.
- Open the sachet by hand (avoid using scissors).
- Remove the paper cover from one of the ends of the patch and place it onto the painful area.
- Remove the rest of the paper from the other end of the patch.
On contact with air, the heat process is activated. The patch may take up to 30 minutes to reach optimum temperature. Only open the sachet when you are ready to use the pack.
Do not use the patch for more than 8 hours in one 24 hour period on the same area.
- Gently remove and dispose of the patch after use.
Precautions for use:
- Do not use if the package is torn or pierced, as there is a risk of burning.
- If the patch tears, rinse the areas of the body that were in contact with the powder with clean water.
- If the powder is ingested, contact a medical professional immediately and inform them of the composition of the powder.
- Check the patch regularly.
- If the warming sensation is too hot or abnormal, remove the patch immediately.
- Allow air to circulate around the patch. Do not compress the patch, for example by lying down or wearing tight clothes over the top of the belt.
- If the patch becomes uncomfortable or causes a skin reaction, remove immediately.
- Closely monitor the use of the patch by persons who are unable to remove the patch without outside help, such as the elderly or persons with reduced mobility.

- Consult your doctor or chemist if the pains persist after 7 days of using the patch.
- Do not put into microwave oven. Do not attempt to reheat the patch. Do not place next to another heat source.
- Do not cut, fold or tear the patch. Do not use scissors to open the sachet.
- Do not allow patch to become wet. Remove before showering or taking a bath.
- For external use only.
- Store out of the light in a warm place.
- Slight redness may appear after removing the patch. This is normal. However, if the redness remains, stop using the patches until the redness has completely disappeared.
Notes:
– Not to be used on the same area for more than 8 hours in one 24 hour period.
– Not for use with children under 12 years.
– Not for use by persons unable to remove the product without help.
– Not for use on areas of muscle damage requiring coolness, such as strains, bruises or tendinitis.
– Not for use on skin with wounds, burns, irritation, swelling or eczema.
– Not for use on areas of the body other than the neck, shoulders or trapezoids.
– Not for use with other products for topical use.
– Not for use by persons with ulcers.
– Not for use in situations where the sense of heat may be altered or on parts of the body insensitive to heat (hypoesthesia, paralysis, etc.). Not to be used during sleep.
– Not for use for persons who are bed-bound.
– Although the patch does not contain any medical substances, it should not be used on persons who have experienced allergic reactions to medication or cosmetics in the past.
Warnings:
Like any heat source, this product may cause burns, even at low temperatures. It is important that the instructions are followed closely. Keep out of reach of children and animals. To be used before the expiration date on the packaging. Used patches can be disposed of with household waste. Do NOT burn after use.
