URGO Strapping
WHY DOES AN INJURED AREA NEED SUPPORT?

After an injury, a healing process begins in the affected area.  Whilst it may seem to have healed, the area will not yet be 100% and remains fragile. The area thus needs support as you return to your activities to ensure a full recovery.

Be careful not to undertake any overly intense activity which could lead to a new injury.

How to use this product?

Instructions:

1.Use on clean, dry skin.

2.Cut the bandage to the desired length and remove the protective paper from one end, continuing to gradually remove it as you wind on the bandage.

3.Create the compression as you wind the bandage by applying enough tension to achieve the desired effect.

4.Maintain the compression effect by ensuring that each wrap of the bandage overlaps at least halfway over the previous wrap.

Precautions for use:

– Never use the bandage directly on damaged or injured skin.
– Avoid excessive compression to hold dressings in place, excessive compression may cause strain on the skin that can cause blisters (epidermal detachment).
– Never apply high pressure to an area with high blood circulation.

– In the event of long-term static use or use on a sensitive area of the body, another layer between the skin and the bandage will be necessary.

Notes:

URGO Strapping® is not designed for use with wet equipment, and thus cannot be used to hold in place lines for resuscitation.
